Tina Hovsepian's nonprofit, Cardborigami, creates transportable shelters that expand to provide privacy and protection. They are recyclable, water resistant, flame retardant, and designed to aid the urban homeless as well as those affected by natural disaster. “I think everyone deserves shelter,” she says. “And that’s what Cardborigami is able to provide.”
