Script Writing | Video Production | Editing & Graphics

We develop, write, and produce award-winning broadcast quality videos from start to finish; we’ll be there for you through it all. We have expertise in the production of short documentaries, branded content, PSAs, commercials, highlight videos, event videos, testimonials, company culture videos, and EPKs. Our services include cinematography,  aerial drone photography,  and post-production, including animation and sound mixing. We work closely with large and small businesses and non-profits to find the essence of what they want to convey to their clients about their products and services.

The Pre-Production Process - Script Writing

Pre-Production is where the vision of your video is developed, outlined, and written. Once the script is approved we create a story-board, cast actors, scout locations, and schedule the crew. We do all the work with the clients' close cooperation and approval though every stage.

Film and Video Production - The shoot!

This is where most of the fun happens! Depending on the scope of the video we provide state of the art video production services, including cameras (Sony FS7 Mark II, Canon, Panasonic, DJI Mavic Pro 4K Drone), sound, lighting, teleprompter, interrotron, and professional actors. We pay special attention to quality and crafting a message that promotes your product or services in a fun and entertaining way.

Post-Production - Editing, Music, Graphics

This is where the magic happens. We use the latest post-production software and hardware, including Adobe CC, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects. We also work closely with a tightly knit group of video makers and graphic artists to produce high end animations and explainer videos.

I worked with Daniel on a video project over the course of 6 months. Daniel was very professional, easy to work with, always responsive to emails and phone calls and I was struck by his ability to make others being video taped feel at ease. His technical expertise, along with his willingness to collaborate and work well with others contributed to the success of this project. I would definitely recommend Daniel- his work is outstanding and he is a pleasure to work with.

I worked with Daniel to produce a PSA for Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) with Actress and GDB supporter Betty White. From start to finish, Daniel and his crew were the utmost professionals. He was thorough, attentive, responsive to my every question, and very creative in terms of art direction and editing. Our finished pieces are stunning and effective. I recommend him wholeheartedly for your next video production.

A very dedicated, experienced filmmaker. I’ve worked with Daniel for at least 15 years now and value him most for his creativity as director or editor. He’s equally devoted to lighting or sound work. The fact that he’s dependable and personable keeps our business relationship going.

I engaged Daniel Gamburg after telephone interviews with several other production companies. His response to my questions were clear, concise, provided without hesitation. His fees were very competitive.

I've known Daniel since the early 90's when he produced a short wherein I played the lead. Later, we worked together very closely on too many video projects to recall. His artistic sensibilities are always vivid, thoughtful and well structured. He is both a gifted, sophisticated artist invariably producing festival-worthy work, is an exemplar of laser focus and a flawless work ethic; and finally, a disciplined craftsman who will not miss a critical detail. Finally, Daniel is a funny guy. (Check out his acting reel.) In short, the dude rocks.

FAQs

You have questions; we have answers.

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a producer like you?

Look for good samples of work that reflect the services you are looking for. Don’t be a tire kicker. If you’re on a tight budget tell the producer upfront, and give a specific number that way you’ll be saving yourself and the producer lots of time. Much of the time, depending on the scope of work, you might be able to get a good deal. Understand that in the film business “cheaper” does not necessarily equal better. Most of the time it’s the other way around. A film production company thrives mostly by word of mouth, based on the quality of their services. Ask for a referral and a sample before making your final decision. A producer’s work is only as good as their samples.

What important information should you think about before contacting a video production company?

The most important question you must answer for yourself before contacting a production company is the budget. What is your budget, or how much are you willing to spend (for a good return on your investment)? The higher the production value (quality) you want, the bigger the number.  These production values can vary from as little as $500 to a million dollars.  If you want something produced from script to screen your budget will have to include payment for development of the script (meetings), writing the script (writer), producing the film (shooting it with a full crew and equipment), and finally post-production (editing, color grading, sound mixing, quality control). This all adds up to many hours of labor and equipment, not to mention insurance, and hiring talent. The sky is the limit. The more you understand about the film production process the more bang you’ll get for your buck. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about how it all works, so that you know where your money is going.

What questions to ask when choosing a production company?

You should ask what the producer specializes in. Then ask for advice on how they would approach producing your video. This will give you an immediate idea of how professional they are in their business. You should also ask for the range of budgets they have worked with. Ask about the typical turnaround time for completion of a video project. This will depend on the type of video you want produced, and it will also give you insight on how the producer manages the delivery timeline.

How does Enlightened Pictures stand out from other production companies?

Our goal is to produce fun and entertaining media with a human touch. We collaborate with our clients to highlight what is unique about their brand and services, while working withing their budget parameters.

What are the most common type of projects?

We produce short documentaries, commercials, PSA’s, testimonials, and editorial jobs promoting products and services for social networks, marketing, and branding. Most recently, we produced national commercials for MTailor, and Thompson Tee. We also produce social human interest videos, such as Harnessing the Power of Partnership for Guide Dogs for the Blind, which received a Gold Cindy Award.  We also produced a webisode series for a high tech company promoting their product through humorous episodes which was a big hit, and even won an award at a tech conference.
